1st Annual Taste of Riviera Nayarit & Bucerias Chalk Art Walk
The streets of Bucerias come alive with food & art

The Bucerias Art Walk Plaza is proud to announce the 1st Annual Taste of Riviera Nayarit & Chalk Walk from January 20th to 22nd, from noon to 6 PM on Lazaro Cardenas between Galeana & Benito Juarez.

The street will come alive on the 20th and 21st of January with local restaurants offering samples of their most succulent dishes for a contribution of between $10-$30 pesos. Taste the cuisine of such favorites as Adriatico, El Oasis Sports Bar, Ernestos Good Grub, Eva’s Brickhouse, Friscatti, My Mexican Kitchen, Riviera Grill, Shamrocks, Todo Verde, Xocolat and many more. The beer garden will offer refreshing Cerveza along with soft drinks & water.
Simultaneously, international artists will be creating 3D chalk art on the street. The streets will literally burst with art from such established artists as Lori Escalera, Lorelle Miller, Julio Jimenez & Antonio Collantes as they create chalk art to the theme: “Out of the Pacific”. A grand prize will be awarded during the Awards Cocktail Party on Friday at 5 PM in the beautiful garden area of Adriatico’s Jazz Bar & Garden Lounge. Tickets are $300 pesos and include 2 cocktails along with appetizers. Experiment with chalk art yourself in a designated art area. Aprons from the event will be available for purchase.

US, Canadian, and Mexican patrons, along with local sponsors such as www.bestofbucerias.com will host special sponsored workshops on January 22nd. Over 20 children and local artists will receive instruction on chalk technique such as “trompe l’oeil” (visual deception).

Support the art community and have fun!
